DEAR PRESIDENT TRUMP

Dear President Trump:

As a direct result of recently seeing an interview of Senator Lindsey Graham by Bill O’Reilly I was moved to send you this letter fervently requesting that you seek Congressional Authority for our fighting with Iran and/or its proxies. The Authority shall be requested to provide for the following four goals:

  • Iran and/or its proxies shall not possess anything used in creating any nuclear weapons and shall not possess any nuclear weapons, all of which shall be verified;
  • Iran and/or its proxies shall not initiate any physical attacks upon Israel, any other Middle East Country and/or the United States of America;
  • Iran and/or its proxies shall not put any physical impediments upon the shipping of any goods in the Straits of Hormuz or any other shipping lanes in the world, expressly including the shipping of oil; and,
  • Iran and/or its proxies shall not harm any people in Iran without those people first receiving the “due process of law.”

The benefits of your pursuing these requests will be legion, both legally and from a practical standpoint. In the first place, when Congressional Authority is procured we will be following our important Constitutional mandates. And then everyone will know what our goals are for this fighting so that when the goals are achieved our fighting can end. Furthermore, from a practical standpoint, since many Jewish people in our country are Democrats, they will support this action, and most likely encourage other people to do the same. In addition many of the people who have come to our country from Iran will almost certainly do the same, as will many other people of good will. And all of these results will begin to unify our country which, as we can all see, is highly polarized today.

So thank you for your anticipated agreement to pursue these important requests!
