APPRECIATION!
2 PARAGRAPHS 4 LIBERTY: 394
I just returned from a reunion of my Class of 1962 at John Muir High School in Pasadena. Since pretty much all of us are or soon will be 80 years old our reunion was called our class’s 80th Birthday Party. And what a good time we had! Of course so many of our classmates either were too disabled to attend or were no longer on this earth. So that reminded me, as I am trying to remind you, to enjoy our lives while we have them, and to be appreciative of our good fortune at all times! I try cognizantly to be appreciative of what country I live in, my good fortune to have been born to Elizabeth and Bill Gray, to have my health, to have a wonderful wife, four wonderful children and three wonderful grandchildren, and to be in a position to be able to be of service to others. What blessings I have had and still do have!
So I hope we all take the opportunity every day to be appreciative, and give hugs to our family and friends. Of course , the older we get the more our friends become our family. In fact, Thanksgiving (the greatest day of the year for me) is fast approaching. Let’s share this meaningful day with our friends and family. In fact in that regard, I am of the belief that one of the worst things that can happen to people is to be on their death bed and look back and think: I wish I would have, or I wish I would not have. I have tried not to let that happen to me, and I recommend you do the same – It’s Never Too Late! And finally I am thankful that I have our 2 Paragraphs Family with whom I can share my thoughts! Thank you all; you are appreciated!
