PRO-JECT’ UNDERSTANDING

We all know that there certainly are many bad things happening here and all around the world. In fact, we get hit in the face with them daily in newspapers and all the other media. But we must keep in mind that there are also many good things that are daily happening as well. With that in mind, if I were a decision-maker in a newspaper I would put a column on page 1 every day outlining yet another good thing that just happened or is continuing to happen. And I would do the same thing on any other media I could influence and I would never run out of material. Particularly in today’s world, people need to focus upon the positive things that are happening, because there are many!

One of those positive things can be found at www.Pro-ject’Understanding.com/religions, and when you get there click on “On Our Website.” This website features quite a few fairly short essays written by practitioners and scholars that set forth many of the commonalities of some of the world’s great religions and philosophies. And in this polarized world, these are truly refreshing things to see and focus upon. As one example, our authors point out that teachings of “The Golden Rule” are a big part of most religions, as are the principles of “Honor Your Father and Mother,” etc. Had you focused upon these realities? I know I had not until I read these works. But what great things to know, and how calming! So please pass along the recommendation to visit Pro-Ject’ Understanding to your family and friends who are searching, whether they know it or not, for the commonalities that we all have with each other, regardless of who we are or where we come from. The Brotherhood of Man really does exist in so many ways, and we should both be thankful and communicative about that fact!
