“TO STRESS OUR COMMONALITIES

2 PARAGRAPHS 4 LIBERTY: #299

To our 2 Paragraphs Family:

For the past year I have been a part of a team called “Pro-Ject Understanding,” which is a group of religious and philosophical scholars and practitioners whose purpose is to focus upon the commonalities among the various religions and philosophies of the world. You can review our website at www.Pro-jectUnderstanding.com.

In addition to discussing those commonalities through our website, we will be holding an event by Zoom on this coming Saturday evening, January 30 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Pacific time. Please consider joining us, and also please help us get the word out to people in your various organizations and networks – especially including students! Particularly in today’s polarized and divisive times, focusing upon so many of the things that the people of the world have in common with each other is a healthy thing to be doing. I openly acknowledge that the practices and beliefs of the world’s religions and philosophies are not my specialty, and during the past year I have been excited to learn a great deal about them from my colleagues. And I expect you will be able to do so as well.

The link to the invitation on our website is as follows: https://blogs.chapman.edu/fish/2021/01/09/see-the-wisdom-of-coming-together/ Please use either or both in your efforts to get the word out to others, and please join us this coming Saturday! What better way to do our part to bring more peace to the world? Join Zoom Meeting: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/83327906574

Brother Jim

Quote for the week: “No matter how educated, talented, rich or cool you believe you are, how you treat people ultimately tells all.”

Judge Jim Gray (Ret.) Superior Court of Orange County, California 2012 Libertarian Candidate for Vice President

As stated above, feel free to listen to our radio show entitled All Rise! The Libertarian Way with Judge Jim Gray as we discuss timely issues and show how they will be addressed more beneficially by employing Libertarian values and approaches. The series has concluded, but you can still hear any edition On Demand by going to https://www.voiceamerica.com/show/3883. And, by the way, these 2 Paragraphs columns are now on my website at www.JudgeJImGray.com, Facebook and LinkedIn at judgejimgray, Twitter at judgejamesgray, and wordpress at judgejimgray.wordpress.com. Please visit these sites for past editions, and do your part to spread the word about the importance of Liberty. In addition, my new book with the same title as my radio show is now available at Amazon.com. Please read and discuss it with your friends, and send in a review.
